Jávea is located on the Northern Costa Blanca, on the most easterly point of mainland Spain, about 100 km from Valencia and 90 km from Alicante.
The Alicante airport is located just 1 hour drive through the AP7, and Valencia airport within 1h 30min.
The town of Teulada-Moraira is located 15 minutes away by car, and Dénia – within 20 minutes through the Montgó Mountain with an enjoyable sea views.
Altea and Benidorm are located relatively close, just 45 minutes by car through the AP7.
With a population of 27 060, Jávea is a very comfortable town for living all year round or investing. Here you can feel that you are in Spain, but as there is a high percentage of English, French, and German people you can find local supermarkets with products from different countries, as well as lots of restaurants and societies who speak your nature language.
If you go on vacation with kids, Playa de Arenal is the best option to play and build sand castles. It always wins the Blue Flag award, and is also the only completely sandy beach in the resort. On the way to the Port from the Arenal you will also find the rocky beach.
The route of the scenic viewpoints of Javea is a beautiful route where you will discover the exclusive caves next to the Mediterranean Sea. A wonderful landscape created by nature.
In the port of Jávea there are many restaurants where you can taste the fresh fish, or just stay and watch how the fishermen bring their fresh catches or the sailing boats setting off from the port.
The building developments in Jávea are different than in another towns like Calpe or Benidorm as the Law does not allow to build high-rise buildings. So here you will find the feeling of space and non-stress city.
The Old Town of Jávea has ancient narrow streets and for shopping purposes there is a Thursday market. It is one of the most popular markets, where you will find bargains, clothes, accessories, fresh vegetables, fruits and everything you need.
The town has big supermarkets like Mercadona, Masymas, or Supercor. In this one you will find more selective and quality products, as well as some products from another countries. There are also small German or English supermarkets with special imported products. They are located in the Urbanización Balcon al Mar, next to Cabo la Nao.
